Fun New Tulip Cup Cozy Free Crochet Pattern

Welcome to the Fun New Tulip Cup Cozy – Free Crochet Pattern instructions! I love these little things. They are cute and functional to use; quick and simple to make. Find the Tulip Cup Cozy Free Pattern below.

As a mom of two littles, I always have a water bottle with me. It follows me everywhere. Whether I have the chance to (or remember to) drink my water is another story. However, there’s always one nearby.

The Need

With my two young children, my water bottle has taken a beating. It’s a nice tall, slim, insulated contigo with a locking spout and is fairly spill-proof. It fits easily in cupholders, although maybe a little too easily. Given its slender nature, my water bottle has the tendency to bounce around when it’s sitting in the cupholder of the stroller. Unfortunately for me, my water bottle has developed significant wear from this cupholder rim.

So, I went looking for a solution, and developed this pattern. This Tulip Cup Cozy is closed at the bottom, and tall enough to add a layer of insulation to protect my poor water bottle. Now, I know not everyone will have the same problem as I do, so the Tulip Cup Cozy is a standard size and fits most standard sized travel mugs, as well as standard pint or drinking glasses.

Tulip Cup Cozy Dimensions

While in use, this tulip cup cozy comfortably fits a 10” circumference, with room to stretch. The closed bottom provides security and prevents your cup or glass from slipping through. Fitted on a glass with 10” circumference, it stands about 4.5” at the tallest point. The Tulip Cup Cozy Free Pattern can be customized to fit taller or shorter glasses by adding or subtracting rounds.
